Python + self learning

My goal for 2018 was to work on my photography and writing skills, while also learning a computer programming language.

As the weather has turned for the worse and my photography time has been reduced, I’ve amped up my programming training.

First-of-all (Charles Barkley’s favorite phrase), self-learning might be the most important activity people can engage in.

It seems a lot of people stop learning new skills once they leave high school or college.

And that’s unacceptable.

Especially for those of us who want to grow, expand, experience, etc.

It’s not the market’s responsibility to prepare us for the world. It’s incumbent upon each individual to make themselves better by learning new skills.

Right now I’m learning Python; and I’ve taken a liking to it.

There are a lot of really good, and FREE, resources out there for people interested in learning Python.

I’m learning Python and finance at the same time through financeandpython.com

… but right now I’ve got to go. The girlies want to go on a walk.

But I’m happy I got this post in. Even though this can hardly be classified as a post.

But half the battle is just carving out the time and getting into the habit of posting.

The next step in this process is to organize my thoughts more so they make more sense in a blog, lol

Off to walk…
